Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Clipwake ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Clipwake.

What Clipwake does

Clipwake generates short vertical videos from a topic you describe, using artificial intelligence to write scripts, produce voiceover, create images, and assemble the result. If you connect social media accounts, Clipwake can publish those videos to them on your behalf through a third-party posting service.

Your account

You must be at least 18 years old. Keep your password private; you're responsible for everything done under your account. One person per account unless your plan says otherwise.

Credits, plans, and payment

One credit makes one video. Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe and add the plan's credits to your account each billing period. Unused credits roll over while your subscription is active. You can cancel at any time from the billing page; cancellation stops future charges and you keep credits already granted until the end of the paid period. Credits have no cash value and are not refundable except where the law requires it. If a video fails to generate, the credit is returned automatically.

Content you create

You own the videos Clipwake makes for you and can use them commercially. You are responsible for the topics you choose, the content that results, and where you post it. You agree not to use Clipwake to create content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, sexually explicit, that infringes someone else's copyright or trademark, that impersonates a real person, or that violates the rules of the platforms you post to. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

AI-generated content

Videos are produced by AI systems and may contain mistakes, including factual errors. Review them before relying on them. Clipwake marks posted videos as AI-generated where platforms provide that option; you are responsible for any additional disclosure the platforms or the law require of you.

Third-party platforms

Posting to TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, or other platforms is subject to their terms. Those platforms may reject, remove, or limit AI-generated content, and may change their rules at any time. We don't control that and aren't responsible for it. Connecting an account authorizes Clipwake and its posting provider to publish on your behalf until you disconnect it.

Music and images

Background music and images in your videos are generated or licensed for use in Clipwake videos. Don't extract them for separate use.

Availability

We work to keep Clipwake running but don't promise uninterrupted service. We may change features, prices (with notice for existing subscribers), or these terms. Continued use after a change means you accept it.

Limitation of liability

Clipwake is provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost revenue, or platform actions against your accounts. Our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the three months before the claim.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or end accounts that violate these terms.
