Privacy Policy

This explains what Clipwake collects, why, and who it's shared with. We keep it short on purpose.

What we collect

Account details: your email address and a hashed password, handled by our authentication provider (Supabase).

What you make: the niches, settings, scripts, and videos you create, stored so you can view and download them.

Connected accounts: when you link TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube, the connection is held by our posting provider (Upload-Post). We store the account's display name and profile picture so you can see what's connected. We never see or store your social media passwords.

Payment: handled entirely by Stripe. We store your Stripe customer ID and plan status, never your card number.

Usage: basic server logs (pages requested, errors, timestamps) used to keep the service running.

How we use it

To make and deliver your videos, post them where you've asked, bill you, respond to support requests, and fix problems. We don't sell your data and don't use your content to train AI models.

Who we share it with

Only the providers needed to run the service, each bound by their own privacy terms: Anthropic (script writing), ElevenLabs (voice), fal.ai (images and music), Supabase (database and login), Vercel and Railway (hosting), Upload-Post (posting to social platforms), and Stripe (payments). Your topic text and script are sent to the AI providers to generate content; your email and account details are not.

Cookies

We use a login cookie so you stay signed in. No advertising or tracking cookies.

Retention and deletion

We keep your account and content while your account exists. Email support@clipwake.com to delete your account and we'll remove your data within 30 days, except records we must keep for tax or legal reasons.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, correct it, or delete it by contacting us. If you're in a region with specific privacy laws (such as the EU or California), those rights apply and we'll honor them.

Children

Clipwake is for adults 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If we change this policy in a meaningful way we'll note the date above and, for significant changes, email account holders.
